While other couples are tramping down the unhappy road to Splitsville, actor and presenter Tumisho Masha and his fiancée Zozibini Mtongana are preparing to walk down the aisle.
The hunky Top Billing presenter has paid an undisclosed amount of ilobolo for Mtongana, also known as Zozi, who has been his fiancée for over two years.
Sunday World can reveal that the first part of their traditional wedding will be held at Mtongana’s home town, Mthatha in the Eastern Cape, where Masha will be formally introduced to Mtongana’s family.
The source adds that the second round of the wedding will be held at Masha’s home in Pretoria next month.
We don’t know how much ilobolo he paid. All we know is that the couple are head- over-heels in love with each other,” says the source.
Their close friends and family members are expected to attend the wedding in Mthatha and the bride will be adorned in her Xhosa regalia (Umbhaco) while the groom will be in his sePedi gear.
According to the source, the wedding will be aired on Top Billing.
Mtongana tells Sunday World she is enjoying being a fiancée and is looking forward to being a wife.
Though Mtongana is cagey about the details of the wedding, she says they haven’t yet set the date for the white wedding.
“At the moment we are just busy with the traditional stuff. After that we will focus on the white wedding. There is no rush,” Mtongana says.
The source says since Masha’s separation from his ex, Angela, he has been happy with Mtongana.
“Zozi is different and completes Tumisho. They are happy together and their love is real.”
