The station has come again with another hot online edition of the popular on-air feature, Amadoda Ayakhuluma. The feature is aired on the mid-morning magazine Time Channel, Ngimi Nawe on Tuesdays, to discuss issues affecting men and males in particular. This week, the station in partnership with the Thembisile Hani Local Municipality will be hosting a dialogue in support of the fight against gender-based violence and the 16 Days of Activism for no Violence Against Women and Children. The broadcast will be a simulcast with live streaming on digital platforms and on-air broadcast on Thursday, 08th December 2022 at 15h00.
The event, in a form of a round table Outside Broadcast will take place at the Government Complex, KwaMhlanga in Mpumalanga. It will be anchored by the station listeners’ favourite Bongani “Bobo Da Beat” Mthombothi with a host of panelist that include Thembisile Hani Municipal manager, Mr Dumisani Mahlangu, IKwekwezi FM contributor and Chapel, Pastor Happy Sibanyoni, AmaNdebele Kingdom’s Prince William Mabhena, TV news anchor and VV Ndlovu kaSomakhawula. The audience will include all male staff members from the station’s units and Community Organizations representatives from the municipality.
The acting Mpumalanga Combo Business manager, Mr Nkosinathi Ntuli will give a live on-air and online welcome and purpose address with the Municipal Mayor, Mr Leseja Dikgale giving a Keynote and support speech.
