With effect from the 1st of April 2021, iKwekwezi FM’s Sivukile Breakfast Show will now be driven by the talented and entertaining DJ R-Voonah together with the versatile and well-experienced Busaai Mathebula between 7am and 9am Monday to Friday while the phenomenal Bathabile Mabena renders the sport element on the show.
Listeners may expect an information-driven, jam-packed and entertaining show in the company of this energetic trio.
This has allowed Deliwe ‘Zuzu’ Skhosana to be moved to the popular mid-morning timeslot Ngimi Nawe between 09h00 and 12h00 wherein her vast broadcasting experience and passion for radio will come in handy as she takes this important time channel to newer heights.
A straight swop between the charismatic Vusi ‘Vum-Vum’ Shabangu and the multi-skilled Bongani ‘Bobo DaBeat’ Mthomboti will have Bobo come back to primetime radio where he will be hosting the station’s popular lunchtime show Siditjhile between 12h00 and 15h00 Monday to Friday.
Siditjhile will never be the same again as Mthomboti will be taking over from the talented Vum-Vum with the aim of bringing listeners a weekday radio experienced that will leave them asking for more.
Vum-Vum will now be serenating audiences with beautiful sounds while engaging in discussions of importance on Sizigedlile between 21h00 and 00h00 Monday to Thursday, while also continuing to host the station’s popular traditional music show Siyatjhagala on Saturdays between 07h00 and 09h00.
The funny and energetic Collen ‘Biziwe’ Masango will continue to host iKwekwezi FM’s fast-paced and ever-growing afternoon drive show AAADS (Amathunzi Anabile Afternoon Drive Show) between 15h00 and 18h00, with Joseph ‘Big Joe’ Tsima adding that all needed sports flavor listeners so enjoy.
The ever-popular Sello ‘Mbuzana’ Nyathi will now be welcoming the weekend with beautiful local music as the host of Sizigedlile on Fridays between 21h00 and 00h00 while also allowing listeners to reminisce in soulful sounds during the sports show Fulela Wanethwa on Sundays between 15h00 and 18h00 as the station takes this new direction.
