PHUSHAZA
AMATHUNZI ANABILE AFTERNOON DRIVE SHOW
Phushaza Sibiya is an experienced presenter, content producer, MC and voice over artist with a career spanning over 12 years in the broadcasting fraternity
Born in Dennilton, Phushaza was raised in Gemsbokspruit, Mpumalanga. He started his broadcasting career as a presenter on UJFM (a campus radio station at the University of Johannesburg). After four years on campus radio, Phushaza joined 947 (formerly 94.7 Highveld Stereo) as a presenter where he further sharpened his skill as a broadcaster. He went on to add traffic anchor to his skillset when he joined Eyewitness News (EWN) in 2015 then moved to 702 as a presenter on 702 Music and Soulful Sundays.
Phushaza is also no stranger to creating magic behind the mic, with producing credits, which include being a technical producer for 702. He was also instrumental in introducing 702 Soulful Sundays.
He also had his turn on the small screen with a guest presenter credit on MK’s flagship show, Studio 1.
Phushaza is also a marketing and communications professional with great interest in reputation management and strategic planning. In 2018, he was selected as one of the top 11 young judges for the prestigious PRISM PR awards.
