William Mabidwana Jiyana, also known as "Wizoo" was born in Tweefontein E, 1990 on the 3rd of June.
Born in Kwandebele at Tweefontein E on the 03 of June. Attended primary school at Phelwane and Somarobogo Primary Schools.
I started dreaming big and unleashing my potential.
Matriculated at Phambili Senior Secondary School, where I started an organisation called Zivuseni Art Society (currently known as Zivuseni Youth and Community Development) which is involved in performing arts and theatre production at Phambili Secodndary School..
2006: auditioned for the radio Drama at Ikwekwezi FM station and I got the part. I starred in several radio dramas.
2007: Won the best Male actor awards of Ikwekwezi Star Awards.
2009: Recognised by the Black Business Quarterly Youth Awards as the youngest person for contributing in Arts, Culture, Entertainment and Youth Development. was the first presenter for the Teen Zone show which was dealing with the everyday life challenges that the youth face in South Africa and Africa
After matric I enrolled at the University of Pretoria for a Bachelor of Arts in Languages and Communications and Graduated and received my degree in 2010. Then I did BA honours in Languages and Communications. I started doing voice-over adverts which I’m still doing for Radio and Television
2009; Launched a company called Mavuba Media and Communications which I am a Managing Director, we specialise in Events Management, Talent and Motivation Consulting, Film and video production and Language Services.
2010 I went to Asia in Thailand and did news reporting for the Dhamakaya Media Channels which broadcast Peace News all over the world; it was a great experience thanks to Mrs Juliet Skhosana and Advocate John Mthimunye for making my tour to Asia possible.
2010 Attended climatology and the study of weather conditions for three (3) months.I became a weather presenter for IsiNdebele News on SABC 1 and left due to career advancement.
I was chosen by the University of Pretoria to attend a conference in Cape Town as one of the Brightest Young Minds of South Africa and I delivered a speech on Media influence on Young People.
2011 I started being involved in Filmmaking and produced a film titled “Hoekline” which addresses the issues we as youth are faces and the film was released 2011 December.
I’m currently the Radio host at the Ikwekwezi FM hosting two (2) show’s on weekends, Ungasali (6pm-9pm) Saturdays and Ngezikhamba Nomoya (12pm-15pm) on Sundays. And I’m a professional Arts Administrator trained with Arts and Culture Trust.
2012: I was appointed as an Educator and District Subject Moderator at Star of Hope Independent School where I taught isiNdebele an (African Language) and Life Orientation and I served a year.
Editor and Translator of the development of Multilingual Statistical Terminology for Statistics South Africa.
2013: Appointed as a Lecturer for University of Johannesburg, at Teacher Education Campus in Mpumalanga Province which is soon to be recognized as University of Mpumalanga.
A School Governing Body Member( FinCom) (UJ Representative): Mareleng Primary School, Siyabuswa Teaching School for University of Johannesburg.
Participant on a National Competition for Corporate Social Investment called “You Deserve it” brought to you by OMO Washing Powder which was aired on E.TV and raised over R70 000 for Thabiso Molopo a double amputee in one day.
2014: Co-Authored a Motivational Book titled. Understanding Your Challenges, which is currently available on sale. Title of Chapter: The Choices You Make Today Determine Your Future Destiny.
A Contributor for African Storybooks Project, pioneered by the Department of Education (IsiNdebele Contributor and Editor).
Soon going to deliver a paper in London, November 2014: A case study done in Loding Areas: IsiNdebele Language as A School Subject at Risk of Extinction.
